Overtell
Real-time competitive intelligence for iGaming operators and affiliates.
Overtell watches your competitors so you do not have to. Promo pages, bonus terms, RTPs, license events, content drift, new market entrants: scraped nightly, diffed against the previous run, and routed to the people who need to act.

The Problem
Operators and affiliates in regulated iGaming markets compete in slow motion. A rival drops a 150% welcome bonus on a Monday morning. By the time your editorial team notices, compiles the change, escalates it, and your promo team updates the site, it is Thursday. In fast-moving markets like the Netherlands and the UK, that gap costs real money.
The manual alternative is a rotating team of analysts refreshing competitor pages every morning. It works until it does not. Staff turn over, coverage slips, and the spreadsheet rots quietly while the market moves. No one sees the RTP cut on a slot until a forum post surfaces it weeks later.
Regulatory monitoring is worse. License events (suspensions, condition changes, new entrants) are published by the regulator in formats that require human interpretation. By the time the news propagates through industry channels, the window for a competitive response has often already closed.
What we watch
Six feed categories, scraped from HTML, JSON APIs, and GraphQL endpoints where available. Each target has its own extraction profile with anti-bot resilience tuned per site.
Promo pages
Welcome bonuses, reload offers, free spins, wagering requirements, and expiry windows. Extracted as structured fields, not raw HTML.
Bonus terms
The small print that changes quietly. Max bet, game weighting, cashout cap, and country restrictions are parsed and versioned.
RTPs
Slot return-to-player percentages as published by the operator. Changes detected the same night they are deployed.
License events
New licenses, suspensions, condition variations, and voluntary surrenders pulled from regulator feeds and diffed against the operator roster.
Content drift
Review copy, game counts, payment method lists, and support hours. Material changes distinguished from cosmetic rephrasing.
New operator entries
New sites entering a jurisdiction (live, soft-launch, or pre-registration phase) detected from regulator data and site crawls.
How it works
Each target site has a bespoke scraper profile. Some operators serve clean JSON APIs or GraphQL endpoints; those get queried directly. Most rely on HTML extraction. Anti-bot resilience is tuned per target: rate limiting, user-agent rotation, and session management are configured per domain, not globally. The scraper layer runs nightly in the 00:00-04:00 CET window.
Raw output passes through a normalizer that maps every operator's idiosyncratic field names to a shared canonical schema. A deposit-bonus multiplier expressed as '200%' on one site and '2x' on another resolves to the same structured record. The canonical layer is what makes cross-operator comparison reliable.
The diff engine compares each night's canonical snapshot against the previous run. It classifies changes as material or cosmetic. A wagering requirement shifting from 30x to 35x is material. A reworded headline with the same underlying terms is cosmetic. Only material changes generate alerts; cosmetic changes are logged but suppressed from the alert pipeline.
Alert routing is severity-based. Critical events (license suspensions, new operator entries, wagering changes above a configured threshold) are pushed to operators by direct notification. Soft events (promo copy updates, minor term clarifications) surface in the morning dashboard brief delivered at 08:00 CET.
Coverage today
Overtell is live across 11 jurisdictions: 10 regulated markets and one crypto bootstrap market. The pipeline currently tracks 204 active operators on the trailing seven-day cadence.
The deepest coverage is in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Italy. The Netherlands has 30 active operators at 100% extraction rate (every licensed operator on the KSA roster). The UK covers 27 active operators at 100% extraction rate, and Italy covers 20 active operators at the same rate.
The nightly pipeline runs from 00:00 to 04:00 CET. The morning brief lands in the dashboard at 08:00 CET. Both UK and Italian pipelines are live, not in development, not behind a stealth layer.
What you can do with it
- 01
Price-match competitor promos
Know the moment a rival upgrades their welcome offer. Your promo team gets the alert the same morning, before your players see it on a comparison site.
- 02
Catch your own data drift
If your operator data on an affiliate page disagrees with your live site, Overtell surfaces it. Find the discrepancy before a regulator or a reader does.
- 03
Detect new market entrants
New operators entering a jurisdiction appear in the alert feed the night their license clears, or the night their site goes live, whichever comes first.
- 04
Spot RTP cuts the day they ship
Return-to-player changes are in the nightly diff. If a competitor cuts a slot's RTP, you know before morning.
